Tyrrelstown GAA club is delighted to announce that they will be holding their annual Golf Classic on Saturday 3rd September 2011. It will take place in Hollystown Golf course. Due to its success last year there is sure to be a demand for places so please book early. The cost is €180 per team of 4, and this also includes a meal in the club house.
This is a fundraiser for the club and any businesses that would like to sponsor a hole, tee or even to donate would be greatly appreciated. There will be spot prizes on the night, and who knows maybe another star guest making an appearance. Tyrrelstown GAA club will be holding their Annual Fundraising Table Quiz in the Thirsty Bull on Friday the 6th May 2011 at 8.00 p.m. The format will be teams of four, €10 per person.

We are changing the format a bit this year to negate the ”google factor”

So expect more picture, music and Film rounds and the new TT GAA Power round!!

Raffle will be held on the night, with top prizes.

**** Training for the Juniors resumes on the pitch at Belgree, Tyrrelstown every Thursday at 5:45, and every Saturday at 10:00 am.

**** Training for seniors is every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:15 on the pitch at Blanch I.T.
Mentors and players are always needed for our growing club.

Croke Park trip – 2nd April 2011

Tyrrelstown GAA are organising a trip to Croke park Saturday 2nd April to watch Dublin take on Down in the Alliance football league. There will also be Dublin vs Kilkenny in the hurling. These will be great matches as the Dubs will be taking on last year beaten All Ireland finalist and super value for both children and their parents. As well as the match between the 2 games JEDWARD will be performing for the crowd. All cildren must be accompanied by an adult on this trip.
Date: Saturday 2nd April.
Age:All children must have a parent or guardian with them.
Price: Adult €13, Child €5. 1 adult & n1 child €15. 2 adults & 2 children €30.
Bus: Is free and being provided by the club. It leaves Lidl Tyrrelstown at 4:30pm.

Tyrrelstown GAA club are holding a club Cheltenham Festival Preview fundraiser in the Park Plaza Hotel in Tyrrelstown on Friday, 4th March.

The event kicks-off at 8pm and the MC for the night is TV’s Denis Kirwan. The guest panel will comprise of none other than Paul Carberry, Paul Stafford, Robbie Hennessy, Don McClean… and Kevin Ryane.

From this Saturday 12th February, the Irish Daily Mail will be printing tokens which can be collected for GAA sports equipment.
